This Refund Policy outlines the conditions under which Enerbrightia offers refunds for consulting sessions, personalized plans, and educational programs purchased through our website.

1. Policy Overview

At Enerbrightia, we want you to feel confident when purchasing our consulting services, personalized plans, or educational programs. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available, how to request them, and what to expect during the process.

This policy applies to all paid services offered through enerbrightia.world and supplements our Terms of Use. In case of conflict between this policy and mandatory consumer protection laws, the law prevails.

Free content on our website — including articles, guides, and resources — is not subject to this Refund Policy as no payment is involved.

2. Your Consumer Rights

As a consumer in the European Union and Sweden, you have statutory rights under the Distance Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen) and the Consumer Sales Act (Konsumentköplagen). These rights include:

  • 14-day withdrawal right: For distance contracts (online purchases), you may withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of the order date without giving any reason, unless an exception applies as described below.
  • Right to clear information: You are entitled to accurate pricing, service descriptions, and contact details before completing a purchase.
  • Right to remedy: If a service does not conform to what was agreed, you may request a remedy such as re-performance or a price reduction.

Nothing in this Refund Policy limits your statutory consumer rights. Where this policy offers more favorable terms, those terms apply.

3. Consulting Session Refunds

3.1 Before the Session

If you cancel a scheduled consulting session at least 48 hours before the agreed start time, you are entitled to a full refund of the session fee. Cancellations made between 24 and 48 hours before the session receive a 50% refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice are non-refundable but may be rescheduled once at our discretion.

3.2 After the Session

Once a consulting session has been completed, the session fee is non-refundable. If you believe the session did not meet the agreed scope, contact us within 7 days with a detailed description. We will review your concern and may offer a partial refund, a complimentary follow-up session, or another remedy at our discretion.

3.3 No-Show Policy

If you fail to attend a scheduled session without prior cancellation, the session fee is forfeited. We will attempt to contact you 10 minutes after the scheduled start time before marking the session as a no-show.

4. Personalized Plan Refunds

Personalized plans are custom documents created based on information you provide during or after a consulting session. Because these plans are tailored to your specific situation:

  • If the plan has not yet been delivered, you may request a full refund within the 14-day withdrawal period.
  • Once the plan has been delivered to your email, the withdrawal right is waived because the digital content has been supplied with your prior express consent and acknowledgment that you lose the withdrawal right upon delivery.
  • If the delivered plan contains factual errors about information you provided (such as incorrect room dimensions), contact us within 14 days of delivery for a corrected version at no charge.

Before purchasing a personalized plan, you will be asked to confirm that you understand delivery begins immediately upon completion and that the standard withdrawal right does not apply once delivery occurs.

5. Educational Program Refunds

5.1 Before Accessing Content

If you have purchased an educational program but have not yet accessed any program materials (logged in or downloaded content), you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase under your statutory withdrawal right.

5.2 After Accessing Content

Once you have accessed any program module — by logging into the program portal or downloading materials — you acknowledge that digital delivery has begun and the 14-day withdrawal right no longer applies. This acknowledgment is required before first access is granted.

5.3 Satisfaction Consideration

Despite the above, if you are dissatisfied with a program within the first 7 days of access and have completed less than 25% of the program content, you may contact us to discuss a partial refund or transfer to a different program offering. Each request is evaluated individually and is not guaranteed.

5.4 Cohort-Based Programs

For programs with fixed start dates and cohort schedules, the withdrawal period begins on the program start date, not the purchase date. If you withdraw before the cohort begins, a full refund is provided. After the cohort start date, standard access-based rules apply.

6. Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Completed consulting sessions where the agreed scope was delivered
  • Delivered personalized plans that accurately reflect the agreed content
  • Educational program materials after access has been granted with prior consent acknowledgment
  • Third-party fees or charges incurred during the purchase process (such as payment processor fees), which are deducted from any approved refund
  • Services purchased during promotional periods where the promotion terms explicitly state "no refunds"

7. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, contact us with the following information:

  • Your full name and email address used for the purchase
  • Order or booking reference number
  • Date of purchase or scheduled session
  • Reason for the refund request
  • Any supporting documentation if applicable

We acknowledge all refund requests within 2 business days and aim to resolve them within 14 business days.

8. Refund Processing

Approved refunds are processed as follows:

  • Payment method: Refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot refund to a different card or account.
  • Processing time: After approval, refunds typically appear in your account within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • Currency: Refunds are issued in the same currency as the original payment (SEK unless otherwise stated at purchase).
  • Partial refunds: When a partial refund is approved, the amount and reason are communicated in writing before processing.

If you do not receive your refund within 15 business days of approval, contact us and we will investigate with the payment provider on your behalf.

9. Cancellation by Enerbrightia

In rare circumstances, we may need to cancel a scheduled session or program offering. This may occur due to staff unavailability, technical issues, or insufficient enrollment for cohort programs. If we cancel a service you have paid for:

  • You receive a full refund of all amounts paid for the cancelled service
  • Alternatively, you may choose to reschedule or transfer to an equivalent service at no additional cost
  • We are not liable for any indirect costs such as travel arrangements you may have made for in-person sessions

We will notify you of any cancellation as far in advance as possible and process refunds within 5 business days of the cancellation notice.
